Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) member Amanullah Notezai has said unidentified men attacked a polling booth in his Dalbandin constituency on July 23 that left nearly 30 people injured.

He said no compensation was given to the injured while the caretaker government representatives didn’t do anything about the incident.

He said Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani visited the area and gave each of the injured Rs20,000, but the provincial government appears least bothered.

He demanded of the government to ensure compensation for the injured and their treatment at hospitals in Karachi on government’s expense.

He expressed gratitude to the Frontier Corps for supporting the doctors in treatment of the injured.
