Power outages : Over 600 factories about to collapse
Constant interruption in supply of of gas and electricity has paralysed business activity in Punjab.

Hosiery Manufacturers and Exporters Association North Zone, Chairman Salamat Ali has expressed concern over the constant interruption in supply of of gas and electricity, which has paralysed business activity in Punjab. Talking to reporters on Thursday, Ali said that Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) had suspended gas supply for the next 72 hours, which affected more than 600 industrial units. He added that SNGPL authorities said gas suspension was a part of the gas load management schedule, according to which, industrial units of Faisalabad were experiencing suspension of gas supply for 72 hours a week, while gas supply of CNG stations was suspended for 48 hours per week.
