Pakistanis who overstayed in Malaysia were provided with all out assistance to regularise their prolonged stay

The Pakistan High Commission in Malaysia is providing speedy welfare and consular services to Pakistanis on a regular basis. The High Commissioner for Pakistan in Malaysia, Masood Khalid said: “We are reissuing passports in lieu of stolen or lost passports, resolution of issues of Pakistani workers with employers, provision of attestation services and repatriation of detained Pakistanis.” He said he had advised all the wings of the High Commission to be proactive and forthcoming to resolve the issues confronted by the Pakistanis residing in Malaysia. Pakistanis who mistakenly overstayed in Malaysia were provided with all out assistance to regularise their prolonged stay. The community welfare wing also kept a close liaison with the Malaysian Immigration authorities for the expeditious repatriation of the Pakistanis. The High Commission has urged Pakistanis to be aware of the agents’ mafia, and before starting their journey to Malaysia must contact the relevant government authorities in Pakistan and Malaysia.
