Outstanding Research: KIU teacher wins award

Karakoram International University associate professor Dr Khalil Ahmed has won the Syed Asad Ali Award for research that he conducted on snow leopards. The award was given to Dr Khalil in a ceremony organised by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), said a press release issued on Thursday. The Syed Asad Ali Award for Conservation of Environment and WWF for Living Planet was the event wherein conservationists in three categories were given awards for distinctions in their field.
