Violent dispute: Two killed, two injured in clash

A petty dispute descended into an armed clash which left two people dead and at least two others injured in Abbottabad, police said on Sunday.

The Mangal police in Abbottabad have arrested all the suspects nominated by either side. According to police, a clash erupted between two rival groups on late on Saturday evening in the Dehi Bagel Para Lodhi village. The rivals are close neighbours in the village. In the ensuing exchange of fire, Aqeel Ahmed and Khurram Shezad were injured.  While being shifted to the hospital, Ahmed succumbed to his wounds.

On Sunday morning, their rivals admitted two injured people into hospital including Amir Basher and Basher Umer Din. Amir died while receiving treatment at the hospital.Police have arrested three people from one side and four from the other side under section 302 and 324.


Mangal Police Station SHO Hadi Parastan Khan told the media that they have deployed officers in the village to prevent any further clash between the two rival groups.
