Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Nabil Gabol manhandled and abused a fellow passenger at the Jinnah International Airport on Sunday, Express News reported.

In a video of the incident, which began to do the rounds on social media, Gabol can be seen having an argument with the passenger at the baggage collection.

The PPP leader then shoved the man believed to be from Lyari to the ground while uttering profanity at him. Gabol can also be seen threatening the man of dire consequences of his actions.

Gabol's actions drew the ire of social media users over his actions.

FIA officials suspended for manhandling 'drunk, aggressive passenger' at Karachi airport

Despite the authorities being present at the scene, they did not attempt to intervene and stop Gabol.

The victim himself called out for the airport staff to come to his aid, but to no avail.

Gabol speaks out

In the wake of social media outcry, the PPP leader spoke out saying that the passenger, who he claimed was drunk, was abusing Pakistan and its leaders at the Dubai airport.

"On the flight back home he misbehaved with the air hostess and four other passenger as well," he claimed.

Gabol went on to claim that he only shoved the passenger after he confronted him at baggage collection and the profane language in the video is not his but of other passengers.

Incidents like these are not rare at Karachi's airport as on July 28 five Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) officials were suspended while a departmental inquiry against them was initiated after a video surfaced on social media, showing immigration staff manhandling a passenger.
