Stunning performance by GSIS students
Kindergarten graduation ceremony of Global System of Integrated Studies held at Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai Auditorium.
ISLAMABAD:
The kindergarten graduation ceremony of the GSIS (Global System of Integrated Studies) was held at Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai Auditorium on Friday.
A dance was presented by nursery students to welcome the guests.
Saima Lodhi presented a report of the pre-school and explained the variety of activities, the academic policy and the teachers training programme held during the year.
A group of costumed children with beautiful props presented the play ‘The Elves and the Shoe Maker’ with confidence and eloquence.
Another item that won the hearts of the audience was the ‘Role of the Devil’, depicting the rise of corruption in society.
Also, the GSIS School Choir entertained the guests with songs.
Educationist Silvat Ali highly appreciated the efforts of the teachers and the school management in organising the show. She emphasised the need for high quality education to meet present day challenges and the needs of society. She spoke highly of the professional skills displayed by GSIS teachers.
Principal Quratulain Ali emphasised the need for coordinated efforts by parents and school management for the development of the children’s skills and abilities.
She said that the progress of GSIS is continuously improving and its students are studying in a number of international universities and colleges of high repute in Pakistan.
At the end a graduation ceremony was held. Parents become emotional and gave a standing ovation to the little graduates who received their certificates from the chief guest. The teachers and other staff members were also honoured.
