NHMP reunites child with family in Islamabad

Parents had left their boy at Motorway service area in Kalar Kahar

ISLAMABAD:  

National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) Friday reunited a seven-year old child with his family after he was left behind at Kallar Kahar North Service Area by his parents.

The motorway police had received a distress message on its helpline ‘130’ in the morning from the missing child’s father who informed that he had left behind his son Mubeen by mistake and now they had reached almost 35km away from Kallar Kahar.

On receiving the message, M-2 North SSP Jamil Hashmi directed the beat chief patrolling officer (CPO) to respond immediately. The CPO with his team reached at the spot and after some efforts succeeded in finding the child.

NHMP handed over Mubeen to his parents who were anxiously waiting for their beloved chid.

The prompt response of motorway police was appreciated by the whole family members of the missing child and they thanked the team for immediate safe recovery.

NHMP Inspector General Amir Zulfiqar awarded the cash reward and commendation certificates to the beat officer and his team in recognition of their swift response.
