Priyanka Chopra bids farewell to 'Quantico' in sentimental note

She expresses her gratefulness towards viewers for accepting her as FBI agent Alex Parrish

Priyanka Chopra has truly taken the showbiz world by storm in the last few years. From releasing songs with Pitbull and Will.i.am to starring alongside Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson in Baywatch, the superstar truly is a force to be reckoned with.

Chopra landed the lead role in hit American series Quantico which first aired back in 2015. The show has now released it final episode and on this emotional occasion, the Mary Kom star took to Twitter to share her sentiments, reported The Indian Express.

She mentions her gratefulness towards people for accepting her as FBI agent Alex Parrish, also thanking the Quantico team for all the memories. "Thank you for opening your homes and hearts to me every week! Thank you to the cast and crew of #Quantico for being such an amazing team to work with, for all the memories that I will cherish…memories of laughter, of learning new things, of making friends for life. It was a pleasure working with each and every one of you, and I look forward to crossing paths again!"

She stated, "As the season ends, I am saying goodbye to Alex Parrish. As you’ll see, her story will come full circle… and that is the best feeling as an actor. Bringing Alex to life has challenged me physically and emotionally, but even more significant it has (I hope) cracked the door open for female talent and women of colour to play leading ladies.” Chopra also shared pictures with the team of her show.

The 36-year-old actor received wide recognition for her role as Parrish in ABC’s political thriller, going on to win the People’s Choice Award for it as well.

Chopra will next be seen in her next Hollywood venture Cowboy Ninja Viking, where she will be seen alongside Chris Pratt. She has also taken on Indian film The Sky is Pink with Farhan Akhtar. The star recently made headlines for walking out of Salman Khan-starrer Bharat due to her rumoured engagement with American singer Nick Jonas.
