PDWP gives go-ahead for $700,000 projects

The development scheme includes Lahore Water and Wastewater Management Project

LAHORE: Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) has cleared an urban sector development scheme of worth $700,000.

The scheme was given go ahead in the special meeting of the PDWP of the current fiscal year 2018-19 presided over the Planning and Development (P&D) Board Chairman Habibur Rehman Gillani and referred to the federal government (CDWP) for its final approval. P&D Secretary Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, members of the P&D Board, provincial secretaries concerned, P&D Assistant Chief Coordination Hafiz Iqbal and other senior representatives of the relevant provincial departments attended the meeting on Wednesday.

PDWP approves four schemes

The development scheme included Lahore Water and Wastewater Management Project – Hiring of Consultants through Project Preparation Special Fund (PPSF) being offered by the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) (PC-II) at the cost of $700,000.
