GUJRANWALA:
A boy was allegedly subjected to sexual assault in Narowal’s Shakargarh Tehsil, Express News reported on Tuesday.
A police official said that the victim’s uncle K* submitted a complaint at the police station in which he accused Tariq and his accomplices of sexually assaulting his 13-year-old nephew A* in an abandoned house. He said that after committing the offence, the accused threw the victim in a nearby field and fled the scene. After the incident, people in the area shifted the boy to a hospital for a medical examination.
The victim’s uncle accused the police of protecting the culprits. He said that the accused belonged to influential families and the police were hesitant to take action against them. He demanded the police to arrest the culprits and award them stern punishment for committing the heinous act.
Meanwhile, the police have registered a case under section 377 and have started investigations.
Earlier, a 14-year-old boy was allegedly sexually assaulted in Mianwali.
