Two shot dead over enmity

The injured were shifted to Tehsil Headquarter Hospital

Two people were murdered while two others suffered injuries in a firing incident in Shahpur police limits on Tuesday.

The police said that Muhammad Imran, a resident of Bhabhrani,Shahpur Tehsil, had an old enmity with Changarr group. On the day of the incident, Imran, along with his relatives Umair, Mujtaba and Imtiaz, was on his way to a village when they were intercepted by Muhammad Arshad and others. The accused allegedly opened indiscriminate firing on them and fled the scene.

As a result, Imran and Umair were killed on the spot, while Mujtaba and Imtiaz suffered bullet injuries.


The injured were shifted to Tehsil Headquarter Hospital in critical condition. The police handed over the bodies to the family and registered a case against the culprits.

Meanwhile, Sargodha DPO took notice of the incident and directed the police officers to arrest the accused immediately.

In another incident, the police arrested two drug pushers and seized narcotics and liquor from them.
