Six killed in different incidents
A boy was electrocuted to death in Jampur
MULTAN:
At least six people died in different incidents in South Punjab on Tuesday.
In the first incident, a speeding bus, on its way to Islamabad from Karachi, crushed two motorcyclists to death on Indus Highway at Muhammad Pur Deewan. The victims were identified as Aijaz Hussain and Mureed Hussain. Rescue officials shifted the bodies to Tehsil Hospital for legal formalities.
In a similar incident, a recklessly driven bus bearing registration number LEL-8855 hit a motorcyclist Muhmmad Imran. As a result, Imran was killed on the spot while the bus driver fled the scene. The Saddar police impounded the bus and registered a case against the driver.
Meanwhile, a boy was electrocuted to death in Jampur. The police said that six-year-old Shaheer was playing outside his house when he accidentally touched an electric pole.
