Farhan Saeed, Rishi Rich collaboration fails to leave a mark
Rishi's style of music paired with Farhan's vocals was clearly not a good idea
KARACHI:
Farhan Saeed has delivered many hits ever since coming into mainstream music. From being a part of Jal to performing solo numbers such as Pee Jaon and Thori Der for Bollywood film Half Girlfriend, he has come a long way and garnered a huge fan following.
Shreya Ghoshal thanks Pakistani singer Farhan Saeed for her Best Singer award
The singer recently released his latest track in collaboration with British-Indian music producer Rishi Rich titled Maula. But unlike other songs crooned by the 33-year-old musician, Maula fails to impress.
Being a fan of the singer, I can say that Farhan does full justice to his part in the track. The lyrics and vocals compliment each other but its the music where Maula falls short.
While Rishi has produced many viral hits too, his style of music paired with Farhan's vocals was not a good idea. The two - as separate entities - ace in their area of expertise but Maula feels like a forced collaboration that was possibly done just for the sake of it.
