Two shot dead in separate incidents

At least two people were gunned down in different incidents within Jahverian and Hadali police limits on Monday. The police said that 22-year-old Shameer, a resident of Kot Allah Bukhsh, and his friend Mubashir were travelling on a motorcycle when three unidentified armed men intercepted them and tried to snatch the two-wheeler. When Shameer and Mubashir resisted, the outlaws opened fire on them and fled the scene. As a result, Shameer was killed on the spot while Mubashir suffered bullet injuries. In another incident, accused Mazhar Hussain and his son Ali Hassan allegedly shot dead Muhammad Imran, 27, over a dispute.
