Well, we can't say that we are completely opposed to the idea

Imran Khan is gearing up to take the Prime Minister office after 22 years of political struggle. As Khan's victory in this years' general elections was announced, many came forward to congratulate the 65-year-old.

Now, Pakistani actor Gohar Rasheed, has started a petition to call Goldsmith in oath taking ceremony of the new elected Prime Minister.

Taking to Twitter, the Rangreza actor wrote, "It is my humble request to the foreign ministry to please invite Ms Jemima Khan as an honourable guest in the oath taking ceremony of the new Prime Minister Of Pakistan. We all owe her a special thanks due to many reasons. This would be a best tribute to a sincere friend of Pakistan."

And well, we can't say that we are completely opposed to the idea:

Earlier, Goldsmith had congratulated her former husband on his victory.

After 22 years of struggle, Khan now looks to be on his way to being the next Prime Minister of Pakistan. “22 years later, after humiliations, hurdles and sacrifices, my sons’ father is Pakistan’s next PM,” the tweet read. “It’s an incredible lesson in tenacity, belief and refusal to accept defeat. The challenge now is to remember why he entered politics in the first place. Congratulations, Imran Khan,” she wrote.
