As the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) strives to form government, party chief Imran Khan's spokesperson Naeemul Haque on Saturday said the putative prime minister would prefer a public oath-taking ceremony.

‘Imran Khan to be sworn in before August 14’

"IK would prefer a People’s ceremony of oath taking where thousands can watch him take the oath as PM of Pakistan. Perhaps D Chowk area may be the right place to do it. Let’s hope so. Will keep on updating on this."

The post invited a variety of reactions. While many could barely contain their excitement, other twitterati were not so kind.
