Regularisation: Medical officers told to contact dept
MOs with postgraduate qualifications who had applied for regularisation before July 22, 2009, will be promoted.

The Health Department on Thursday issued a schedule for the implementation of the chief minister’s summary on the promotion and regularisation of medical officers (MO). According to the press statement, MOs with postgraduate qualifications who had applied for regularisation before July 22, 2009, will be made assistant professors, senior registrars and district specialists. The Health Department has directed the doctors to appear along with their original documents in front of a department committee headed by the health secretary. The secretary will verify the documents between May 31 and July 12.
