The trailer for upcoming documentary I Am Paul Walker, which celebrates the life of the late The Fast and the Furious star has just been released and it is the emotional roller coaster that everyone expected, reported Daily Mail.

Actor Paul Walker tragically passed away in a car accident back in 2013, aged 40. The two-minute-long teaser is filled with interviews with those who knew him best — his family, friends and colleagues.

Scattered with footage from his films and cellphone, the documentary offers a glimpse into his early years as well as adulthood.

According to Paul's brother Caleb, the actor did not want the flashy celebrity life when he was young.  "He would always say he wanted to be a park ranger, you know, make $28,000 a year and live in the wilderness. That's really what he wanted to do."

Nonetheless, he ended up becoming a big star regardless, most famed for his role as Brian O'Conner in The Fast and the Furious franchise.

His sister Ashlie reveals that he always had that need for speed. "He liked to go fast; as soon as I was old enough to hang on tight, I was on the back of his big wheel with him going for the ride of my life," she recalls in the clip.

"That guy made the best of every single minute... he lived five lifetimes," adds his Running Scared director Wayne Kramer. Paul's uncle Rhett Walker emotionally stated that the Brick Mansions actor actually "did a lot of things that made a lot of difference in a lot of peoples lives... He was a giver."

The final word in the moving trailer is left to Paul's Fast & Furious co-star Tyrese Gibson, "If you loved him the way we did, you would say, well, why him and not us?'

I Am Paul Walker premieres August 11, 2018 on the Paramount Network.
