RAWALPINDI:
The Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) officials on Thursday confiscated five truckloads of goods from different parts of the cantonment in the on-going campaign against encroachment.

The operation was carried out in Saddar, Misrial Road, Chungi Number 22, Nasseerabad and Chur Chowk areas. Cantonment Executive Officer (CEO) Sibtain Raza urged shopkeepers to cooperate with RCB staff and desist from encroaching on footpaths and public places.

Raza warned of strict action if shopkeepers did not give up the practice of encroaching beyond the shop limits.

Earlier on Tuesday, RCB confiscated four truckload goods from different markets during its anti-encroachment operation.
