PML-N quashes rumours of any deal
Marriyum Aurangzeb says such allegations are shameful
LAHORE:
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Spokesperson Mariyyum Aurangzeb has strongly denied speculations that were carried by a section of the media earlier on Tuesday, regarding plausibility of a deal by deposed, jailed prime minister Nawaz Sharif.
She claimed that such allegations, particularly on a leader who had refused to even go to a hospital despite illness are shameful. The former information minister also said that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) should take notice of such propaganda against the PML-N supremo even after the time for campaigning had ended as it was an attempt to harm the party’s reputation with only a few hours left in the general election.
“Such baseless reports are all an effort to damage our public image and adversely affect our votes”, said Aurangzeb.
