MMA candidate remains unhurt in attack
BANNU:
Jamiat-Ulema-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader Akram Khan Durrani was targeted for the second time when unknown assailants fired upon his vehicle in Bannu on Sunday.
According to police, the former K-P chief minister remained unhurt in the attack.
Four die as blast targets Durrani
On July 13, a corner meeting was rocked as an improvised explosive device (IED) planted in a motorcycle some 50 metres away from the ground exploded in Bannu. The attack targeting JUI-F’s central general secretary resulted in four casualties with as many as 39 injured. Durrani, however, remained unhurt in the attack.
