Punjabi Taliban

KARACHI: The Punjabi Taliban are gaining more strength as the army is focused in South Wazirstan, Orakzai and Swat. Also there have been disturbing reports which suggest that some actors still view outfits like the Lashker-e-Jhangvi and other sectarian outfits as tactical weapons for the state. We must understand and realise that these non-state actors are no longer an asset. The fact is that they have now become a liability and we need to deal with them accordingly.
