Rescuers announce donation for dams
A total of 12,500 rescue officers and officials will contribute
LAHORE:
Rescue 1122 Director General Dr Rizwan Naseer announced donation of two days salary of all rescue officers and one-day salary of all officials for Diamer-Bhasha and Mohmand Dams Funds in the light of decision of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
This was decided in a meeting of all District Emergency Officers (DEOs) held at the Rescue-1122 Headquarters on Saturday.
Prompt action by Rescue 1122 saves people’s lives
A total of 12,500 rescue officers and officials would contribute to the initiative. The DG directed all DEOs to ensure proper implementation of standard operating procedures and quality service indicators to maintain uniform standards and quality assurance in all districts of Punjab. Dr Naseer directed the DEOs to ensure strict implementation of the code of conduct for upcoming general Election 2018, whereas zero tolerance would be maintained if anyone found involved in political affiliation with any political party.
