Residents of Chakra Goth, Korangi, took to the streets to protest against illegal water connections in the area. They blocked the road to Korangi No. 1 for three hours and burnt tyres. The protesters said that the connections have lessened the supply to their houses. They also allegedly tried to snatch a rifle from a Rangers officer during which a protester was accidently shot and injured.
