LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau arrested four people on corruption charges on Thursday, in the State Life Insurance Cooperative Housing Society scandal and the Munafa Network Marketing (MNM) motorcycle scam.

The accused arrested for being involved in the housing society scam were identified as Muhammad Asif and Muhammad Abid.

The men were involved in purchasing and selling 5,000 kanals of land.

NAB had already arrested a patwari identified as Abid Hussain. Similarly, the men arrested in the MNM scandal were identified as Muhammad Sagheer Nisar and Naveed Azhar.

The accused were defrauding citizens after claiming to provide motorcycles at cheap rates.

Earlier, at least 20 people involved in the operation were arrested by NAB. NAB are currently further investigating the cases.
