Entertainment: National Puppet Theater on tour

The puppeteers are educating the youth about the importance of health, education and environment

ISLAMABAD: The National Theater of Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) is on an entertainment and educational tour for children across the country. The puppeteers visited Lahore, where they performed in different schools for three days from May 19-21. The team is currently in Gujranwala, educating the youth about the importance of health, education and environment. Besides entertainment, the puppet shows are a conscious effort to explain socio-cultural issues and nurture a sense of responsibility among children, a PNCA official said on Wednesday.  APP
