Listing The Facts: Particulars of criminals sent to FIA

FAISALABAD: Police officials have sent the particulars of 60,000 accused to the national police bureau and the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). The accused were arrested by the Faisalabad police in various cases and their fingerprints and particulars have now been transferred to the National Police Bureau and FIA to assist with terrorism investigations. The names, addresses and other information has been included in the record. Police officials said that this record would allow the authorities to improve their monitoring of terrorists and absconders trying to flee the country.
