Mango festival attracts huge crowd

The three-day mango festival that commenced on July 13 concluded in Multan on Tuesday. During the festival, more than 100 varieties of mangoes were exhibited at 50 stalls.
The festival attracted a large number of visitors, including representatives from different companies and foreign visitors.
While speaking on the occasion, Caretaker Agriculture Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas said that holding such festivals will prove beneficial for mango farmers. He added the event provides an opportunity to the people to get acquainted with the different varieties of the fruit.
