Electronic version of Reham Khan's autobiography out on Amazon

Previously, the book had been called a scheme to discredit Imran Khan's reputation ahead of the upcoming elections

Reham Khan, the former wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf chief Imran Khan has been creating quite the storm with her tell-all biography.

With many calling the book a scheme to discredit Imran's reputation, apparently offering some very controversial detail, it's safe to say that the book has more than made a mark even before its release.

Some of those details have not been received well by certain people though, especially businessman Zulfi Bukhari, Reham’s first husband Ijaz Rehman and former cricketer Wasim Akram. They even went to the extent of carrying out legal proceedings against Reham.

But despite numerous efforts, no one was able to keep the biography from hitting the shelves, so to speak. The 563-page book has been published online and its electronic version is now available for readers to purchase on Amazon.

Reham took to Twitter to share the news with her followers.

The book's description on the website reads, “Reham Khan was born in Libya in the 1970s to an educated, affluent Pakistani-origin family. Her eventful life took her from Gaddafi’s Libya to the Zia years in Pakistan and thence, to England as a teenage bride before she returned to Pakistan in her 40s."

It continues, "It’s a life of extraordinary contrasts: both a brutal marriage and domestic abuse, but also the rebuilding of a life, the raising of three children and subsequent media success. And in recent years the contrasts have continued: Reham has built a successful career as a broadcast journalist and anchor, and has established herself as a powerful media force in the UK and Pakistan."



The summary concludes, "The miracle of Reham’s story is that, throughout it all, this housewife-turned-journalist-turned-social-activist has managed to balance her work with her primary role of being a mother. She shows us the challenges that a woman can overcome when she wants more from life than tradition expects of her. This is a story of survival with a smile."
