Three robbers barged in and held him hostage at gunpoint
GUJRANWALA:
A father of three was shot dead by outlaws during a robbery bid in Saraey Alamgir Tehsil on Monday.
A police official told Express News that Muhammad Habib was at his shop at Aurangabad Road when three robbers barged in and held him hostage at gunpoint. The outlaws snatched cash and other valuables. However, when Habib showed resistance, the criminals opened fire on him. As a result, he was killed on the spot. The deceased was the father of three children.

In another incident, four bandits entered the house of Amjad Butt on Allama Iqbal Road and held family members at gunpoint. They looted jewellery, cash, a licensed weapon and other items before escaping.
Similarly, in Rajar area of Saraey Alamgir, robbers broke into the house of Tanveer Shah and looted 25,000 dollars and 10,000 euros in his absence.
In Fatumand area, robbers broke into a superstore and looted items and cash worth millions of rupees. Despite the availability of CCTV footage, the police could not locate the suspects. The cops claimed that the footage was unclear and the faces of the bandits were not visible. However, they are still working on the case.
