Hajj quota issued to 128 organisers

Unregistered Hajj Organizers and sub agents are not authorised to collect private hajj scheme applications

ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has asked  intending Hajj pilgrims to hire the services of registered Hajj Group Organisers  (HGOs) only for performing the sacred religious ceremony under private hajj scheme. Speaking to the media an official of the ministry informed that the ministry has issued Hajj quota to 128 enrolled Hajj Group Organisers (HGOs). which have have already started booking of Hujjaj. An intending pilgrim should ink the written agreement with a registered HGO after scrutinising its package details. Unregistered Hajj Organizers and sub agents are not authorised to collect private hajj scheme applications. The official said before finalising any deal with the HGO, an intending pilgrim must confirm the permission letter, enrollment number, package offered including air fare, distance of residence from Haram Sharif, Maktab number of Mina Tent Village and transport facility being offered to Hujjaj. An intending pilgrim must also write his blood group with the application.
