Off track: Man crushed by oncoming train

Eyewitnesses said that Kamran saw the train approaching but believed he could run the distance in time.

KHANPUR: A young man was killed after being crushed by a speeding train. According to the police, Chak 124NP resident Mohammad Kamran was crossing a railway track when he was crushed by a speeding train.

Eyewitnesses said that Kamran saw the train approaching but believed he could run the distance in time. The incident occurred near the Feroza railway station on Tuesday afternoon.

Farooq was killed on the spot and his body has been handed over to his family after police officials completed all legal formalities.
