New model, new price: Indus Motor unveils Corolla Altis

Local maker introduces eco-meter for the first time.

Indus Motor Company (IMC) unveiled the new 2011 Corolla Altis and GLi automatic variants on Tuesday.


Toyota Corolla Altis has been introduced with an eco-meter for the first time in the country that allows a driver to monitor fuel economy, according to a statement issued by the second largest car maker in the country.

The new price of Altis manual and Altis manual with sunroof will be Rs1,719,000 and Rs1,809,000, while Altis automatic and Altis automatic with sunroof will cost Rs1,809,000 and Rs1,899,000, respectively.


The car is equipped with a new six-speed manual transmission while automatic variants are equipped with a four-speed automatic transmission The new Altis includes redesigned front grill along with sleek head lamps and crystal tail lamps.

IMC also introduced an automatic GLi variant, priced at Rs1,679,000, keeping in view the long-standing demand from customers, the statement said.
