Karachi’s chaotic traffic
Govt must be questioned over its planning that has only added to the problems of the commuters
KARACHI:
As the local authorities in Karachi continue to build overpasses and underpasses one after the other, the traffic situation in the city only seems to worsen by the day. A 10-minute drive back home in the evening is stretched over to a 35-minute-long ordeal that one has to make through six days in a week.
The government must be questioned over its planning that has only added to the problems of the commuters. First, the city government and the Sindh government should put their own house in order before criticising other provincial governments for their failure to solve the common people’s problems.
