Faisalabad varsity distributes laptops among students
Says counter has been set up at GCU community college for the assistance of students.

Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF) on Friday distributed laptops among MPhil and PhD students under the prime minister's laptop scheme in its fourth phase.
Student Affairs Director Dr Nadeem Sohail said a counter has been set up at GCU community college for the assistance of students. He said laptops would be given to the students of four to five departments on daily basis.
However, all the students will have to submit an affidavit declaring that they earlier did not receive any laptop under the PM’s laptop scheme.
‘New universities, facilities planned for women students’
On an opening day (Thursday), laptops were given to students of business administration, commerce, public administration, banking and finance, industrial management departments. On Friday, students of zoology, public health, IT and software engineering departments received laptops.
Laptops would be distributed among students of applied linguistics, English, history, mass communication, political science, sociology and Punjabi departments on July 2.
