Sikh yatrees reach Lahore

Special security arrangements were made for the pilgrims, while the gurdwara was also decorated

LAHORE:
Sikh yatrees visiting Pakistan reached via a special train at Nankana Sahib on Tuesday. Upon their arrival at Nankana Sahib, the Evacuee Trust Property Board deputy secretary shrines and other board officials received them at Gurdwara Dera Sahib and presented them with bouquets. Special security arrangements were made for the pilgrims, while the gurdwara was also decorated. “I came here after so many years and I am elated to see Greater Iqbal Park,” stated party leader Sardar Bilvander Singh. He also expressed satisfaction over the security arrangements and hospitality extended to the pilgrims in Pakistan. The Sikh yatrees will also visit Gurdwara Kirtarpur Narowal and Rohri Sahib Aimonabad on Wednesday (today) and perform their rituals.
