Barrett Hodgson University promises to change the educational landscape of Karachi

Visit BHU's Open House on July 7 to get acquainted with Pakistan's next big university

Barrett Hodgson University is an exciting initiative of The Salim Habib Education Foundation(TSHEF) that is located in Karachi's Korangi Creek. The university, spanning six acres of lush landscaping, with its meditative environment and a five story academic block, has created a safe place for knowledge creation. Furthermore, it houses a four story library which has more than 13,000 physical volumes in its collection, apart from the online journals and 21 state-of-the-art labs.

BHU provides an optimal learning environment in which students discover, develop and refine their intellectual, academic and entrepreneurial skills as well as their leadership potential to become professional par excellence.  It aims to transform the lives of its students in such a way that they become responsible leaders of the society.

BHU focuses on transforming education in Pakistan by not only providing the finest education, but also by hosting educational stimulating events such as interactive seminars, thought provoking workshops, holistic training sessions, distinguished lectures by eminent scholars and ground-breaking research colloquium. BHU offers undergraduate degree programs in Biomedical Engineering, Biosciences, Computer Science, BBA, BS Accounting & Finance and Pharm D. The teaching faculty at BHU comprises of 22 foreign qualified PhD members who have academic and research experience from universities like University of Cambridge, Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham, Surrey, Drexel University, Karolinska Institute, Universite Claude Bernard, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, National University of Singapore, NUST etc.

At BHU, sports is an important aspect of student life. The institute believes that sports will help the students stay active and healthy, learn key developmental skills by managing a team or a club and foster constructive friendships.



The sports complex boasts world-class sports facilities that include squash, basketball , table tennis and badminton courts, indoor swimming pool, gymnasium, jogging track and a football ground. Hence, students have the opportunity to get involved in a number of sports activities during the course of their academic career.

BHU recently announced its Open House for the fall 2018 admissions. The event will commence on July 7, 2018 where parental career guidance sessions shall be conducted between 11am-12pm and 3pm-4pm. Register in advance if you do not want to miss this amazing opportunity!
