RAWALPINDI:
The district administration of Rawalpindi and the Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) removed electoral posters, panaflexes and hoardings that did not comply with prescribed sizes of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
Speaking at the training session of monitoring officers, Deputy Commissioner Umar Jahangir said implementing ECP code of conduct was imperative or holding free and fair polls.
ECP okays massive bureaucratic reshuffle in provinces
He directed the monitoring officers for general elections 2018 to ensure implementation of election code of conduct issued by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) in their respective areas in the district.
