Moot on innovations in teaching

Virtual University of Pakistan plans will help to explore new ways to improve the quality of education

LAHORE: A two-day international conference on Innovations in Teaching and Learning started at Virtual University of Pakistan on its M A. Jinnah Campus Lahore on Monday. Scholars from various national universities and foreign delegates shared their ideas, research studies and articles at the moot. Virtual University of Pakistan Rector Dr Naveed A. Malik said that this conference will help in bringing academicians and educationists to explore ways to improve the quality of education and its role for the social and economic development of Pakistan. He said that the conference provides a useful forum for participants to share knowledge for the students, researchers and practitioners in the field of education. It will also help them to investigate and share their observations, practices, experiences and research about current educational trends, he added. A large number of national educationist and delegates from the US, China and Malaysia are participating in the mega event.
