Pakistan were thrashed 4-0 by India in the last-ever Champions Trophy opener at Breda, Netherlands.
Ramandeep Singh, Dilpreet Singh, Mandeep Singh and Upadhyay Lalit were on the scoring sheet as the Men in Green failed to score even once.
India’s last three goals came in the ten minutes of the match as they made full use of tired Pakistan defenders to start their campaign on a high.
Pakistan will not take on Australia on Sunday in their second match of the six-nation tournament.
