LAHORE: The Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) has objected to the construction of an over-head bridge in front of the Social Security Hospital on Multan Road.

The PMA has appealed to the chief minister to direct the Lahore commissioner to change the site of the over-head bridge. Dr Mohammad Tanveer Anwar, the PMA Lahore president, said that the idea of constructing a bridge in front of the hospital gate was ‘ridiculous.’

He said it was causing traffic jams and causing problems for the hospital ambulances, patients and attendants.
