FIA nabs human trafficker in Quetta
Also arrests four Punjabi men trying to reach Europe illegally

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Thursday booked five people, including an Afghan national, for their involvement in human trafficking.
According to details, FIA’s Anti-Human Smuggling Circle team, headed by SHO Noor Ahmed, conducted a raid at a local hotel on Mission Road and arrested an Afghan national Naimtullah alias Mehmood.
Human trafficking declines in Balochistan
Four persons, whom Naimat was supposed to smuggle to Europe via the Pak-Iran border in Balochistan, were also arrested from Baleli. They all hailed from Punjab.
FIA lodged cases against them under Prevention of Smuggling of Migrants Act 2018. It is the first case lodged in Quetta under the act.
One of the FIA officials said, “The four detained citizens of Punjab were in contact with Waqas alias Muhsin Baloch, who had given them Naimat’s number with specific instructions to reach Quetta and meet him.”
15 men from Punjab found dead in Kech
During the raid, fake identity cards, mobile SIMS and passports were also seized from Naimat. While scrutinising his cell phone, it was revealed that he used to send Afghan and Pakistani nationals to Europe via Panjgur and Gwadar regularly.
The detained persons are in FIA custody and being investigated.
On the directions of the Balochistan FIA DG, the Anti-Human Smuggling Circle has intensified its operation against human smugglers throughout the province.
