Current accounts have become the number one financial target for fraudsters.

RAWALPINDI:
Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Rawalpindi on Monday managed to net a former employee of the Punjab Land Record Authority Service Centre who was wanted in a land scam.

Fatehjang former Service Centre Official (SCO) Mubashir Rasheed had been declared an absconder by the court for illegally transferring the nearly 1,000 kanal estate of Ammar Siddique’s late father to a property dealer. Rasheed was taken into custody from the jurisdiction of Haveli Dewan Police Station, an area of Kot Momin, Sargodha.

ACE Rawalpindi had arrested six suspects including ADLR Majeed ASCI Rana Naumaan, SCO, Liaquat Ali, SCO Aamir Ali Bhatti, representative of vendees Malik Tassawar Hussain and the vendor Sohail Sarfraz Khan.

Rawalpindi ACE Director Arif Raheem said that Ammar Siddique of Taxila had made a complaint to ACE that the complainant's father Muhammad Siddique Khan owner of 990 kanals and 14 marlas in the revenue estate of Dharnaal had died and the inheritance mutation has yet to be entered in the land record.

However, the officers of Arazi Centre Fatehjang illegally and fraudulently through bogus attestation, forgery in record transferred the land.
