Official Visit: Firdous condemns Saudi diplomat’s killing
The minister’s visit will provide an opportunity for Pak-Saudi officials to hold consultations on a range of issues.

Information Minister Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan during talks with senior Saudi officials condemned the assassination of a Saudi diplomat in Karachi. Awan, who is currently on an official visit to Saudi Arabia, said: “The killing of the diplomat is an attempt to sabotage the cordial ties between the Kingdom and Pakistan.” This is the first visit of a high-ranking Pakistani official after the Saudi diplomat was gunned down. The minister’s week-long visit will provide an opportunity for Saudi and Pakistani officials to hold consultations on a range of bilateral, regional and international issues.
