Peshawar Attack: US commends Pakistan’s quick response

The United States has commended Pakistan’s quick response to a terrorist attack on its consulate personnel traveling in diplomatic vehicles in Peshawar on Friday. State Department spokesman Mark Toner said that no US personnel were seriously injured in the attack. “We certainly appreciate the support of Pakistani authorities who responded immediately and are investigating the attack,” the spokesman said.
