Armed groups have started attacking political leaders of various parties in Balochistan.
Last week, the house of Balochistan National Party-Awami leader was blown up by militants in Turbat, while BNP-Mengal’s candidate had narrowly escaped a gun attack in Makran division.
Political parties have been demanding of the interim government headed by caretaker Chief Minister Alauddin Marri a peaceful environment for the upcoming elections.
