SUKKUR: The Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) Sindh has warned that its members will boycott OPDs across Sindh from May 23 if the Sindh government does not meet their demands by May 22. PMA joint secretary Dr Usman Mako addressed a press conference in Sukkur on Saturday. He said doctors throughout Sindh have been serving in pay scale 17 for the last 15 years and some of them are at the verge of retirement. “Despite repeated promises, the government is reluctant to fulfil the doctor’s demands so we will boycott OPDs and if the government doesn’t meet our demands, we will protest outside Chief Minister House on May 26.” he added.
