K-P Caretaker Chief Minister Dost Mohammad on Tuesday announced to give his monthly salary and allowances to provincial department of Social Welfare to spend on destitute and poor segment of the society.
Presiding over a meeting of Social Welfare department here, he emphasised upon setting up of social welfare department in each district of the province besides, directing to strengthen the security of Darul Aman across the province and trainings of the staff.
The caretaker CM expressed annoyance over undue delay in preparation of a policy for transgender people and directed the relevant department to finalise it within a week.
He directed for the need driven expansion of social welfare institutions at districts level, improving security in Darul Amaan and proper training of officials.
He also directed for a universal access number to register complaints of female harassment and sell and purchase of acids indicating the promulgation of an ordinance by his government soon.
