Three suspects held for cheating public
Investigation by NAB accuses persons to obtain illegal monetary benefits through fraudulent activities

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore claimed to have arrested three suspects for their alleged involvement in the fabrication of documents and cheating public. The accused persons, identified as Muhammad Gulzar, Imran Maqsood and Malik Amjad Sadheer, were arrested during raids in different parts of the city on Tuesday. According to initial investigation by NAB, the accused persons in connivance with each other obtained illegal monetary benefits through fraudulent activities, including the use of fake NAB letters and NOCs. They were arrested in execution of warrant of arrests which were authorised by NAB director general in Lahore. The inquiry proceedings also disclosed that they had gained pecuniary advantages by preparing false, forged and fabricated documents and agreements of various plots of DHA Lahore and other numerous private housing societies. An accountability court has granted physical remand to all of them till June 25.
